Tattoos: Dragon w/2 tribal markings on her lower back Dragon on her arm a cross on her thigh the latin words: "Quod me nutrit me destruit" (What nourishes me also destroys me) on her stomach a box shaped design on her back a cross-like design on her lower front hip Angelina Jolie was born in the year 1975 . She is the daughter of Academy Award and Golden Globe winner actor Jon Voight who has long become famous for his excellent acting in movies like HEAT. Since she became an actress, she's used her middle name, Jolie, as her last name, probably with the idea of getting famous of her own performance but not from the credit of being the daughter of an excellent actor. She grew up in Los Angeles, and later trained and performed at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where she was seen in several stage productions. She worked as a professional model in London, New York and Los Angeles, and has also appeared in music videos for such artists as Meat Loaf, Lenny Kravitz, Antonello Venditti, and The Lemonheads, although I have never personally seen her at these videos. In addition, she has acted in five student films for the USC School of Cinema, all directed by her own brother, James Haven Voight. Angelina Jolie got married in 1996 to John Lee Miller who was a co-star of the movie Hackers, which she stared in as well. But John Lee Miller is now better known as one of the actors of the British suprising Smash Through movie Trainspotting where he played Sickboy.
